USA Charvels Rules of the Road
» No lurkers - members must contribute
Members have to post to keep their accounts valid (a few posts every month is all we ask).
Want it to be based on a contributing membership.

» No Personal Attacks
Debate - even heated debate - is encouraged. However, personal attacks will not be tolerated.
Please treat others with the same respect you would like in return.

Top

» Classifieds - For Sale posts
Members with under 100 posts (Newbies) cannot post for sale classifieds.
This is simply to prevent people from joining for nothing more than to sell their gear.

Top

» Non-Guitar Discussion Forum
Please - no religious or political posts in the Non-Guitar discussion forum.
These topics frequently bring out the worst in people, therefore, please refrain from posting them.
Our religious and political views have nothing to do with the guitars and music that we have in common.

» PLEASE use the resources that are available to you
Please use all of the tools that have been provided. The administrators have spent many hours adding features such as custom BBCode for Ebay items, YouTube videos, etc. When people post without taking a moment to learn to utilize those tools, it is not only disrespectful to those who spent the time to implement them, but it makes the board less uniform and therefore less enjoyable for all. None of the BBCodes require rocket science to use. If you do find yourself stuck, please ask an admin for help. We would rather provide assistance to you instead of chasing after posts to fix them after the fact. Please take a moment to read the BBCode Guide to familiarize yourself with these features. No one will be banned or admonished for not utilizing these features, but it would be greatly appreciated if everyone would at least attempt to use them when appropriate.

» Avatars
To keep things looking tidy, please keep your avatar maximum size limited to 80px wide by 80px high. Oversized avatars will be trimmed or removed.

» Signatures
Please limit signatures to no more than three lines of normal sized text. If using a picture in your signature, please limit the size to 30px high by 300px wide. Larger images will be trimmed or removed. We just don't want sigs to get obnoxious like on the gear page.
